Teachers join the scientists on the ice
Scientists from the US, Newzealand, Italy and Germany just started to drill a 1000 meter sediment core from the seafloor of Antarctica. Scientists from Germanys Alfred Wegener Institute are investigating the chemical and phyical properties of the ice core.
